Remaking Ourselves~Critical Hope and Healing in Education

Leadership Practices for Healthy, Just, Inclusive Communities

6792067We are delighted to introduce Hla Yin Yin Waing (Waing Waing), who serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Ethical Leadership, a national nonprofit that cultivates leadership and builds capacity for change, helping communities tap collective wisdom in service of the common good. Known for community-based collective leadership, this workshop offers concepts & practices from the Center’s body of work including the Peacemaking Circles process to support individual, institutional, and community transformation necessary to creating healthy, just and inclusive communities. Additionally, we’ll share a joint plenary session with the Native American Student Advocacy Institute. This will be a panel presenting Washington State’s Tribal Education Compact Journey. We look forward to an interactive, dynamic and unique format for 2015.
