Just a few more hours until the 2013 NWATE Annual Conference is in full swing! This year, we hope to engage our online community during and after the conference, engaging in conversations on topics explored during the conference, and networking with others dedicated to excellence in teacher education!
So how can I engage in the online dialogue?
- Twitter – throughout the conference, follow and use the hashtag #nwate, as well as follow @nwate1. Throughout the conference, the Twitter feed will be a great way to share and connect! At the end of each day, a “Tweet Summary” will be developed to capture the Twitter conversation that has happened and shared on our site!
- Facebook – like the NWATE Facebook page and post thoughts, questions and your learning during the conference! The Facebook page will also feature tweets made by the @nwate1 account during the conference.
- Live Blogging – follow the ongoing posts and learning from live bloggers on our website in the 2013 Conference Blogging section in the NWATE Voices tab of the website. Read and comment as the conference progresses (and beyond)! Better yet, consider sharing a post!! Email NWATE at email@example.com to either 1) receive “guest blogger” rights on our site, or 2) share a post that can be placed on the site and credited to you (or anonymous, if you wish). Read the post Become a Blogger at the 2013 NWATE Conference to learn more about it!
Learning is ongoing and the days of “sit and git” professional development are behind us! Engage in our online community to extend the learning and to network with other dedicated professionals!
Enjoy the conference!
